Sandals Lowers Honeymoon Test Drive Vacation Price

Sandals Resorts' "Test Drive Your Honeymoon" program allows couples sample their honeymoon on a one-day getaway for $99 per person, including airfare on Air Jamaica.

The program was previously priced at $179. Before they marry, guests can fly to Sandals Royal Caribbean Resort & Private Island in Montego Bay, Jamaica, for a one-day getaway featuring roundtrip champagne flights on Air Jamaica, a preview of all the luxurious amenities offered as part of a Sandals Resorts honeymoon.

The day-long adventure also allows couples to consult with Sandals Resorts' partners and wedding experts, including jewelry connoisseurs from Colombian Emeralds International, resort wedding consultants, a bridal expert from Bride's and Modern Bride magazines and more.

Couples considering a destination wedding also will have the chance to learn more about Sandals Resorts' exclusive Preston Bailey Signature WeddingMoons collections and can receive additional information about getting married at any of the 12 Sandals Resorts in the Caribbean.

"The ‘Test Drive Your Honeymoon' program is an opportunity for an immediate business return for home based travel agents," said Mike Norton, vice president of sales for Sandals Resorts. "Once clients jet down for the day and discover all of the luxurious amenities of a Sandals honeymoon, they are all the more likely to return to the agent within two weeks to book their stay.

" The "Test Drive" offer is available from New York (JFK), Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago or Philadelphia for nine select dates beginning this fall. Flights depart in the morning and return the same evening on Oct. 3, 10, 17 and 31, Nov. 14 and 28 and Jan. 16, 23 and 30.

Additional highlights of the day include a champagne beach barbeque, live music and entertainment, snorkeling and a variety of water sports, as well as time to relax on the beach. Plus, there is the chance to experience Sandals Resorts' exclusive Red Lane Spa and signature swim-up pool bar. Whether couples choose swimming, sunning, sailing or simply walking on the sand, it's all included for the day.

Sandals' "Test Drive Your Honeymoon" program also includes prize giveaways throughout the day, representing more than $5,000 in gifts. Couples will be vying for matching Satin Finish engraved wedding bands from Colombian Emeralds International, a wedding gown courtesy of Destinations by Mon Cherie, a $250 gift certificate from 800-FLOWERS.com, a $100 Visa gift card from Bank of America, and, to top it off, a Sandals Resorts Luxury Included Honeymoon, with roundtrip airfare on Air Jamaica.
