Carnival Changes Minimum Age, Pregnancy Policies

Carnival Cruise Lines is changing minimum age and pregnancy policies on Jan. 1 for new bookings only. Infants must be at least six months of age at the beginning of the cruise to be eligible to travel. For transatlantic, Hawaii and South American cruises only, infants must be at least 12 months of age at the beginning of the cruise. Guests who will be 25 weeks or more into their pregnancy by the end of the cruise will not be permitted to sail. Guests who will be 24 weeks or less into their pregnancy by the end of the cruise are required to provide Carnival with a physician's letter stating that the mother and baby are in good health, fit to travel, and the pregnancy is not high-risk.
