Important VAX Updates Impacting Windows XP Users

Recent security updates we implemented prevent agents using Windows XP operating system accessing VAX through Internet Explorer 8 (or older versions), 128-bit encryption the ability to access VAX Vacation Access. If you or any agents in your agency are using this operating system action is required.

Due to the age of the product Microsoft is no longer providing support for Windows XP making it more vulnerable for security risks. If you are using Windows XP you can still access VAX using other browsers including the most recent versions of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

To avoid exposing your data and personal information to security threats it is highly recommended that you upgrade your PC. If you are unable to upgrade your PC you can check Microsoft's free Upgrade Advisor to see if your PC meets the requirements to upgrade your operating system to Microsoft 8.1.

If your PC is compatible Microsoft also provides a tutorial to upgrade your operating system. All of this support can be found in Microsoft's support site: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/end-support-help

Before taking action, make sure you consult your agency owner/manager or those responsible for your agency's technology decisions to make the best decision for your business.
Thank you,
VAX Vacation Access
