What Ships will Make Your Clients The Happest?

With Valentine's Day fast approaching, you might want to consider the option of offering your clients
a romantic cruise. Sea, sun, sand and surf are all conducive to a romantic experience, and shipboard options like fine dining, dancing and snuggling in a lounge chair all easily up the romance quotient.

But there are also particular extras and details that may push the experience over the top, given your clients particular tastes. See which ships will make your clients the happiest.

For Chocolate Lovers:
New desserts on Princess Cruises ships designed by chocolatier Norman Love will include a chocolate raspberry mousse with vanilla creme brulee and crunchy shortbread.
Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, Princess Cruises recently launched a fleetwide partnership with world-renowned chocolatier Norman Love. Onboard Princess ships – including the new Regal Princess – passengers can indulge in special custom-crafted chocolate desserts, chocolate spa treatments, chocolate cocktails and assorted chocolate bites.

For Foodies:
Learn to cook at Oceania Cruises' Bon Appetit Culinary Center. Splurge on luxury line Crystal Cruises, which with its new modern and classic main dining room menus and specialty restaurant Silk Road (featuring the sublime creations of famed Japanese chef Nobuyuki "Nobu" Matsuhisa) is serving the best cuisine at sea. Tasty treats abound too on Oceania Cruises ships, including at the Lido buffet grill – featuring lobster and prime cuts of meat. Improve your cooking skills at Oceania's culinary center, which is staffed by pros and run in conjunction with Bon Appetit magazine (a fee applies).

For Fitness Fanatics:
The college-sized basketball court onboard Norwegian Epic has plenty of space for you to let out your inner Shaq. All the new ships have state-of-the-art fitness centers and jogging tracks where you can work out with ocean views. But on Norwegian Cruise Line's Breakaway and Getaway your clients can also go wild with college-size basketball courts, Spider Web climbing cages, bungee trampolines and such nouveau offerings as TRX Suspension training, Black-Light Spinning and an interactive Nexersys workout against an avatar.

For Dancers:
Dancing with the Stars returns March 17. Trip the light fantastic on Holland America Line ships with the "Dancing with the Stars: At Sea" program, tied-in with the popular ABC TV show. Paired with a member of the shipboard show team, your client can compete in a competition for opportunity to win a trip to an annual "finals" cruise.

For Solitude-Seekers:
On SeaDream Yacht Club luxury ships, couples can request the crew to make up a day bed with a duvet and pillows for the ultimate overnight under the stars. If your client doesn't like to be part of a big crowd, consider a cruise on one of the yacht-like, 112-passenger SeaDream Yacht Club ships. You can request a table for two, take off in a laser sailboat or glass-bottomed kayak and even sleep outdoors on deck, watching the stars from a cushy Balinese daybed.

For Spa Lovers:
Aurea Spa offers couples' treatments. In shipboard spas, surprise your boyfriend or girlfriend with a couples' massage, which will find the two of you side-by-side, turning to mush. If your itinerary includes a visit to a cruise line's private island, you may even be able to have the treatment delivered in an open-air cabana.

For Beer Aficionados:
On tap you'll find Newcastle Brown Ale, Murphy's Stout and Old Speckled Hen Pale. The drink menu is full of dark, golden, brown and India pale varieties. The craft beer movement has taken off at sea, with Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises leading the pack. On select Royal Caribbean ships you'll find a pub with 35 beer selections, including Boddingtons Pub Ale, Murphy's Stout and Chimay Blue Belgian. On the new Quantum of the Seas, sip American artisan producers at Michael's Genuine Pub. Meanwhile Celebrity is rolling out a Gastrobar, with a full beer menu featuring a wide range of dark, golden, brown and India Pale varieties.

For Outdoorsy Types:
Alaska is a prime cruise destination for those who want to spend time in the wild – including doing things like trekking on the top of a glacier. Alaska is a prime cruise destination for those who want to spend time in the wild – including doing things like trekking on the top of a glacier. Go with a big ship line and explore on adventure excursions, or go with a small ship line such as Un-Cruise Adventures and spend much of your week in the wilderness. For water sports lovers, follow the sun to the Caribbean and other tropical destinations. For easy access to the water, go with small ships equipped with their own marinas and water toys – such as the yachts of Windstar Cruises and Seabourn.

For Amusement Park-Goers:
Costumed characters meaner around the Disney Cruise Line ships. Beginning in summer 2015, Disney Cruise Line guests can immerse themselves in the animated hit “Frozen” with brand-new experiences inspired by the film, including a spectacular deck party, a three-song stage show production number, new character meet and greets, storybook adventures ashore and more.

If your Client is into Disney, the choice is clear. Disney Cruise Line ships are floating versions of the parks, akin to staying at the Grand Floridian at Walt Disney World Resort. Costumed characters, show productions featuring movie tunes and overall Disney nostalgia are part of the scene – for adults and kids alike. The Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy even have AquaDuck, a real watercoaster. Plus the only way to get to Disney's beautiful Bahamas island, Castaway Cay, is via cruise ship.
