Promotions are key to capturing group business
After agreeing to book a group trip with a leader, many agents drop the ball on the critical
next step of promoting the product, said industry veteran Stuart Cohen, who suggests agents reward early bookings with the potential for a free upgrade.
"Focus on the benefits of booking early, such as being able to choose a stateroom. [Getting early bookings is critical and can truly mean the difference between the success and failure of a group," Cohen said.
