New Web site helps Travel Agents do Cruise Nights

Carnival Cruise Lines has created a special website with tips and information on planning cruise-themed sales events. Holding a Cruise Night is an excellent vehicle for travel agents to reach out to new and existing clients to promote the incredible value of cruising.

The new "micro-site," available within the line's travel agent portal, http://www.bookccl.com/, includes a section titled "Planning Your Cruise Night" with detailed information for compiling an invitation list, establishing a theme, generating publicity, and coordinating post-event follow-up marketing efforts. There's also a link to http://www.carnivalconnections.com/, the line's online community that serves as a useful tool for travel agents to organize group cruises.

Also included is a "Cruise Night Tool Kit" where agents can order post cards, letterhead, posters, brochures, and balloons. Home Based Travel Agents can also order giveaway items such as T-shirts and key chains and download a variety of Carnival logos, including special WLCN logos, and email templates to create their own customized marketing materials.

To encourage their clients to book cruises during the promotion, Carnival is offering two-category upgrades for all voyages booked on Oct. 19. For additional information, call 800-327-9501 or visit http://www.bookccl.com/.
