Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises recently introduced a new enhancement to their eDocs program. As a continuation of their Easy To Do Business With efforts, eDocs now has a new look and feel. The format has switched from a three-column landscape format to a user-friendly two-column portrait format.
A Table of Contents has also now been incorporated. Through the use of Acrobat Reader bookmarks, you will be able to access the correct page by simply clicking on the item of interest while viewing the document through your computer.
While online, you can click on the newly added hyperlinks, in order to be directed to additional information on a given subject. In most cases an appropriate map image of the itinerary will populate in the Cruise Summary page, to better visualize the booked cruise.
For your convenience, eDoc bag tags and eDoc jackets are packaged together and can be ordered through BrochurePower, accessed though www.cruisingpower.com or by calling 1.800.255.4373 for Royal Caribbean or 1.800.211.4789 for Celebrity Cruises. Ask for item number: AS0001304I.
Please remember to ask for eDocs when making your bookings.
Future Enhancements
To support this new format, a newly designed eDocs jacket is currently being developed.
Some highlights of the new design will include:
Easy way to secure the eDocs within the jacket
Handy slot for business cards
Convenient pocket for the eDocs baggage tags
Revised two-sided instruction sheet on the use of eDocs baggage tag and jacket
Other future eDocs developments include:
Greater flexibility in the management of eDocs - especially for large groups.
Samples of the new documents can be seen on www.cruisingpower.com by selecting Booking Tools/Documentation.
