Fort Lauderdale Introduces Fall Deals for Travel Agents

The Greater Fort Lauderdale hospitality community this fall is offering reduced rates for home based travel agents at more than 50 resorts, hotels and inns throughout the destination.

Agents can experience accommodations ranging from luxury hotels to select Superior Small Lodgings. Rates range from $35 at the smaller, quaint properties to $287 at luxury resorts. The prices are up to a 50 percent savings off the current values. “This is our way of celebrating travel agents and the hard work that they do to help make greater Fort Lauderdale a top year-round destination,” said Nicki Grossman, president of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau. “Agents can think of it as research.”

To qualify for the reduced rates, travel agents must have current IATA or CLIA card, plus business card and any other certification required by individual property.
