Princess Cruises’ Princess Academy is launching a new weddings course that offers home based travel agents information on the line’s “Tie the Knot” program for weddings, vow renewals and honeymoons at sea.
The course provides travel agents with sales tips and background on Princess’ onboard romance activities, including the renewal of vows program, honeymoon and anniversary packages, and the “Engagement Under the Stars” option where proposals are shown on the ship’s big outdoor movie screen.
Princess offers a range of destination wedding choices and is one of the few lines to offer ceremonies at sea performed by the ship’s captain. Ceremonies also can be held in port before departure and in ports of call.
Princess Academy helps home based travel agents build their business by becoming experts on a range of topics, earning their “stripes” as they progress through four levels: First Officer, Staff Captain, Captain and finally Commodore.
