Travel Agent Training Webinar

Learn how to become a better travel agent.
Travel Impressions is launching its first virtual trade show for home based travel agents on Feb. 11, 2010, with the World of Romance show focusing on planning clients’ next romantic getaway, honeymoon or destination wedding. The World of Romance virtual trade show is scheduled for Feb. 11 from 1 to 5 p.m. EST. Space is limited and agents must register at www.travelimpressions.com/worldofromance. During the virtual trade show, agents can visit exhibitor booths where they will learn about the tools that are available from Travel Impressions and its industry partners for selling and promoting romance vacations. Tips will be provided about finding the best destinations and hotels that meet clients’ needs.

A highlight of the trade show is a virtual presentation called “World of Romance,” which will highlight Travel Impressions extensive product line for couples. Jan Stuart, senior director of corporate marketing, airline and car relations at Travel Impressions, will be the speaker for this program. In addition to Travel Impressions, exhibitors include Sol Meliá Hotels & Resorts featuring Gran Meliá, Meliá, Me and Paradisus; Palace Resorts; Sandals & Beaches Resorts; and Breezes Resorts & Spas, as well as hotel partners from the Caribbean, Mexico, continental United States, Hawaii, Europe, Eastern Mediterranean, South American and Central America.

When visiting exhibitor booths, travel agents can download documents such as brochures, selling tips, hotel information and wedding package options to a personal briefcase which they can then save to their personal computers. Agents can also download this type of information from the “Media Center” found at the top of the show’s homepage. For more personalized service, travel agents can choose to chat virtually with representatives from each exhibiting company at the booths or in the auditorium or lounge areas (found at the top of the page). Travel agents can register for a chance to win prizes from participating exhibitors, details of which can be found in the prize center located at the top of the page. For more information, call 800-284-0044 or visit http://www.travelimpressions.com/.
