Are you one of those people who shy away from posting videos because you think it's just too hard to do? That's really no longer an excuse, especially if you are using YouTube.

I bet you didn't know that YouTube has taken the work right out of posting videos to its service. It provides a built-in video editor right in your user account. That's right!

With the video editor, a non-technical person can now take a video they shot from any camera device and upload it to YouTube as-is. From there they can use the editor to do things like:

  • combine multiple videos togehter
  • shorten a video's length
  • add special effects or sound
  • insert links and calls-to-action
  • include captions
  • and more!
No need for special software or mad techno-skills!

To get you going, here's some more helpful info on how to use all the features in the editor.

What you should do now

The possibilities are endless, but there are a few things I want you to make sure you include in every video you now publish:

  • Your agency name
  • A box showing your website address or social media links (whichever you want people to visit most)
  • An invitation to subscribe to your channel (if you post a lot of videos)
These should now be a permanent fixture on every video you put out there. They will help build your brand and get some traffic over to your website. If you have current videos on YouTube and feel like adding this info onto them, you can do it too!
