Is a Around the World Cruise in 180 days in your bucket list?

A world cruise is right up there in terms of ultimate travel experiences. You wake up each day in a new place, see "bucket list" attractions (including UNESCO World Heritage sites), and enjoy constant sea views.

Over the course of several months you visit dozens of ports with time to explore, including overnight stays in key places.

Segments of a month or less may also be available. But to gain status as an "all-arounder" or "worldlie," you need to do the whole seabang.

Check out these world cruises (space is available, though in some cases limited).

1. The Crystal Serenity embarks from Los Angeles on January 18 on an 89-day world cruise that includes Asia and Africa. The ship will impressively do three-day stays in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City, Singapore and Cape Town, as well as several overnight stays in places, including Honolulu.
