Home Based Travel Agent Success Series

The Home Based Travel Agent Success Series is providing travel insight from industry leaders including the Globus family of brands. A veteran initiative for travel agent education, the series is offering its ninth program in less than a year.

These grassroots educational seminars offer professional training from top travel companies in the communities for home based travel agents. Participants in the four-hour events are exposed to practical, step-by-step tips and insights on how to enhance their brands, build sales and generate group business.

As an added perk, two of the upcoming workshops will take place on board Royal Caribbean International's Enchantment of the Seas and Grandeur of the Seas allowing agents to experience the ships that they sell. With a registration fee of just $15, which includes breakfast or lunch, the seminars promise to provide a goldmine of information in a highly lucrative market segment.

"Every home based travel agent I speak with asks for more education on the programs we – and other suppliers – offer them," said Kathleen Kavanagh, manager of home-based sales and training for the Globus family of brands. "This series offers unprecedented training, in that we provide the tools necessary to become a successful home-based agent.

Dates for the next Home-Based Success Series are: Jan. 29, (Ft. Lauderdale on the Enchantment of the Seas); Feb. 3, (New Orleans on board the Grandeur of the Seas); Feb. 19 (Dallas), Feb. 20 (St. Louis), Feb. 21 (Denver), Feb. 22 (Phoenix), Feb. 23 (San Diego).
