Enhancements to Your Client’s Experience – What You Need to Know

At the Walt Disney World® Resort we are focused on making every part of your Client's experience the best it can possibly be – from unique attractions to magical character moments to the little details that allow Guests to treasure every moment. Over the next several months you’ll be learning about some of the ways we’re enhancing the Guest experience and delivering more of what your Clients want. This includes new digital tools that you can use or provide to your Clients to enhance their ability to customize their trip and personalize their Walt Disney World Resort experience through self-service.

It’s our goal to provide you with the information you need to help your Clients take advantage of these exciting new enhancements.

My Disney Experience

As a valued Travel Professional, we want to share some information with you that will not be broadly advertised or promoted for several months.

My Disney Experience – Walt Disney World, a new mobile application from Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Online, is now available as a beta version. This app will provide another way for your Clients to make the most of a Walt Disney World Resort stay and will feature Park hours, attraction wait times, dining information, Park maps and more. While this app is currently in the beta phase, additional enhancements will roll out over the coming months. Your Clients may ask you questions about the app, so we wanted you to be aware of it.

Some features on this application will require your Clients to create a Disney account and sign in to activate functionality.

PLEASE NOTE: We encourage you to inform your Clients about this exciting new mobile application after they reserve a Walt Disney World Resort vacation package, and to use this information to respond to any questions they may have. However, we ask that you refrain from using this information in any marketing materials or other general communications until this the beta test is over, at which point we’ll notify you of our launch date and the publicity efforts for this application so you can coordinate your communication efforts with ours.

Online Dining Reservations
Beginning in early August, online dining reservations at the Walt Disney World Resort can only be made by those who have registered and created a Disney account. If you or your Client do not yet have a Disney account, you or your Client will be prompted to create an account when you go to reserve a dining reservation.

While the online dining reservation process is fast and easy, you and your Clients can also continue to make dining reservations by calling the Disney Reservation Center.
