How Home Based Travel Agents Earn BIG Money

The Best Kept Secret in Travel... Cruise for FREE.
Did you know that you can travel for free and earn extra cash when enough people travel with you? Organizing group cruises is easy and fun.

What do I have to do to cruise for free?
Here's an example of the free cabins you can earn for a 7 night group cruise (based on double occupancy):
If you have 8 cabins in your group, you earn one free guest
If you have 16 cabins in your group, you earn two free guests
If you have 24 cabins in your group, you earn three free guests
If you have 32 cabins traveling in your group, you earn four free guests.

There are virtually no limits to how many free guests you can earn! (Two free guests = one free cabin)

If you like what you've read so far, you'll love this
What you do with the free cabins is entirely up to you. Here are some examples:

Cruise for Free PLUS Earn Cash
You can keep the all of the freebies for yourself. This means when multiple cabins are earned, you can cruise for free and opt to take the extra credit in the form of cash.

Spread the freebies across the group for Benefit of all.
You may apply the cash value of the freebies to all of the cabins in your group to create an additional discount for everyone. The additional discounts are paid after your group returns from the cruise.

Donate the Freebies to a Non-profit Church, Club or Charity and the members cruise at a group discount rate.

Apply the credit towards shore excursions.
(city tours, snorkeling adventures or a helicopter rides) or spend it on gifts (fruit baskets, wine, bathrobes, t-shirts or caps. The decision is yours and your options are endless.

Hire a Group Escort or Invite a Special Guest
Some corporate group leaders with large groups hire a professional on-board group escort to help coordinate on-board and on-shore activities. If this is something that interests you, please let us know.

Other savvy group leaders seek out centers of influence and create custom groups around the affinity group. This is a great way for you to develop a massive ongoing group business because you can promote annual cruises with the special guest and their sphere of influence.

Examples of this are radio hosts, yoga instructors, pastors, etc.
Again, the possibilities are endless. We have group leaders who travel for free several times a year and make great money, too.

Does this sound like something that you want to do?
Call us today so we can get you started promoting your first group and earning your free cruise! We'll help you with promotional ideas and assist you in creating marketing materials.

Here are some examples of groups you can organize to earn a free cruise and maybe even some extra cash.
• Family Reunions
• Weddings and Anniversaries
• Friends and Social Groups
• Clubs and Associations
• Church Groups
• Country Clubs
• Golfing Groups
• Professional Associations
• Retired Military Groups
• Fraternal Organizations
• Meetings and Incentives

Home Based Travel Agents also Earn Commissions.
The average commission is $450. per 7 night cruise.
10 Cabins X $450 = $ 4,500 in commission per group
25 Cabins X $450 = $ 11,250 in commissions per group.
50 Cabins X $450 = $ 22,500 in commissions per group
100 Cabins X $450 = $ 45,000 in commissions per group
200 Cabins X $450 = $ 90,000 in commissions per group

It is not uncommon for our agents to have 2 or 3 groups per year.

Important Notes:
Port charges, taxes and government fees are not included in the free cabins. Cruise line group policies vary per cruise line.

Amazon Rainforest Educational Workshops

Next spring, travelers can embark on a journey deep into the jungle of the Peruvian Amazon rainforest, accompanied by top Amazon scientists to plumb the culture and habitat of one of the planet's most precious resources.

Organized by International Expeditions as in-depth, interactive learning experiences, these two 9-day rainforest educational workshops will depart on March 14 and March 21.

The trip begins with overnight accommodations in Lima, Peru, a flight to Iquitos, and then a 50-mile sail down the Amazon to the Explorama Lodge. Guests will spend two nights at this recently renovated hotel built high off the ground and partially open to the sights and sounds of the rainforest.

Guests will also meet local schoolteachers and learn about the educational system of ribereños, who live in villages along the river. They may choose to spend the afternoon working on a community project such as planting trees or helping to paint a school.

There will also be a visit to Orejone Village —a community that has little contact with the outside world—and where the group will learn how to fish for piranhas. Other trip highlights include birdwatching and hiking.

The 2009 Amazon Workshop is priced at $2,798 pp dbl, including local transportation, guides and group transfers. The single supplement is $298. In-country flights and international air are not included, but both can be arranged via the tour operator.

For those who want to extend their journeys, International Expeditions can arrange 7-day pre-or post-trips to Machu Picchu & Cusco; pp prices start from $2,498.

For more information on International Expeditions and its workshops visit ietravel.com or call (800) 633-4734.

Celebrity “Starring You Network”

Celebrity Cruises launched the first phase of its retooled website with enhancements such as a richer homepage experience and the “Starring You Network,” a series of web episodes that link users to various actions on the site.

The new homepage design features a non-traditional layout with a panoramic approach that “creates the sense of a wide, boundless vista, much like the expansiveness one experiences while gazing at the sky from the deck of a ship at sea,” the company said. The design also features a new footer section to ease managing existing reservations, learn more about Celebrity’s ships and destinations, and find important news and announcements.

The site’s relaunch includes the introduction of the “Starring You Network,” which will feature stories about Celebrity guest experiences while onboard its ships. The stories are aimed at converting users’ emotional responses into immediate action, such as booking a cruise.

The programming is filmed in television broadcast quality and often features destinations that Celebrity visits. For more information, call 800-437-3111 or visit www.celebritycruises.com.

Hawaii Family Video for Travel Agents

Travel Research Online has released another video in its series of videos for travel agents to send to their clients. Agents can add their own logo and contact information to the video prior to sending.

The new video, Hawaii is for Families, is sponsored by Blue Sky Tours, but contains no advertising. Each video in the planned series will run for 4 - 5 minutes and will feature either a popular destination or a travel theme. "The TRO video series gives agents a new type of content to access for their marketing. Agents can rely on these videos to be agent friendly and to promote their travel planning practice," said TRO publisher Richard Earls. "From the outset, our mission has been to provide travel agents with first rate marketing tools that gave them a professional edge. This video series is the next addition to the TRO collection. We will be adding one new video every couple of weeks for the next few months until we have a substantial library."

TRO's business model is to have travel agent tools and content sponsored by suppliers. "We feel it is a great trade-off", says Earls. "Travel professionals receive very strong new assets to added to their marketing tool set. When an agent receives an email broadcast from TRO or sees one of our banner ads, they can know with confidence that the supplier being promoted has contributed to the overall well-being of travel agents by sponsoring these tools. We don't just send an email broadcast from a supplier, we promote relationships between the agency community and suppliers."

TRO produces a variety of marketing tools at no cost to all bona-fide professionals. On the TRO site, agents can find destination guides, epostcards, articles and stories all of which can be private labeled by the agent with their agency name and logo.
